Joseph F. Eschleman, CIMA, currently serves as a Managing Director – Investment Officer with Wells Fargo Advisors in downtown Sacramento. Holding his Series 7(General Securities Representative), 63 (Uniform Securities Agent), 65 (Uniform Investment Advisor Representative) registrations, and California insurance license, Mr. Eschleman provides primarily fee-based financial and investment consulting that includes, but is not limited to, individual investment and retirement plans, business and corporate retirement plans, and ongoing business and personal wealth and investment management assistance. Mr. Eschleman currently advises on approximately $230 million in client assets, as of April of 2013, primarily focusing his efforts on closely held small and medium-sized businesses and business owners, as well as individual corporate professionals and retirees.
Joseph began in the investment industry in the spring of 1999, and is in his 14th year of assisting clients with their wealth management needs. The continued expansion of his practice and clientele has been highlighted by the broad array of planning and services he has available for individual clients, whether it is investment planning to help them pursue their financial goals and objectives, or more complex estate investment planning, investment-related tax management, and wealth transfer issues. On the business side, the skills and experience Mr. Eschleman has acquired as a result of earning and maintaining his Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation has attracted corporate clients who have needs that include pension and profit sharing analysis, employee benefits education, asset allocation and investment management planning.
Mr. Eschleman graduated cum laude from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science degree from Lehigh’s College of Business and Economics. As a long-time member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA), he officially earned the prestigious and above-mentioned CIMA designation, administered through The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, in 2003.
In his career, Mr. Eschleman has been a featured writer in Sacramento’s Senior Magazine, and has been a repeated featured television guest, addressing various investment planning and economic issues, for Dan Elliott and Keba Arnold on KXTV News10, Sacramento’s primary ABC affiliate. He has also been interviewed on numerous occasions by Nannette Miranda, of KGO-TV, a San Francisco ABC affiliate, and has also spoken in front of the Rotary Club of Roseville as well as various State of California agencies.
Mr. Eschleman has proudly been married to his wife, Megan, for 12 years as of April 27th, the couple being proud parents of their seven year old daughter, Josephine, and four year old son, Henry.
